Oliver Grows.
Oliver's first tooth has sprouted!!! Lower right central incisor.
He has discovered the roll maneuver onto his back from his tummy, but doesn't do it often because I think he enjoys one of us rolling him back for him ;)
Pulls his knees towards his belly & sticks his butt in the air...the first signs of the crawl! And he already has the stereo/dvd/cable boxes in sight ;)
Loves oatmeal cereal...a large improvement of liking compared to the rice...we still "spike" his bottles with the rice, but he will really get after the oatmeal on his spoon with a wide open mouth!
Sits up more without support.
Still sleeps the best with mom & dad =) Uh oh.
Has more frequently slept all the way through the night til dawn than waking up 5 times during the night.
Getting used to playing independently with his toys.
Splashes & has a good ole time in the bath...& continues to allow Daddy the bathtime duties =) as long as I can convince Daddy it's his turn!!!
Laughs at the peek-a-boo game.
Loves his "Sophie" the giraffe - - ---thanks Boddickers =) She has been a savior teething toy!
Shows increased fine motor skills...he does a great itsy bitsy spider & he doesn't even know it!
Everyday he continues to grow out of the baby stages & into a personable young man. On his 6 month birthday, the 10th of this month (yeah I'm really behind!), I just sat there & was so amazed at him grabbing at his Dad's magazine...trying to pull it out of his hands & rip the pages...because 6 months ago...he was just a tiny little mini, sleeping sleeping sleeping away.
It's so amazing & we are looking forward to the next 6 months...
as he climbs toward his one year mark!
