and on the 10th day...gus shall be discharged! liberation finally. free from rsv... pneumonia... monitors... cords... tubes... oxygen... and needles! gus made a turnaround completely on tuesday night. not only did he look healthier...he was coming up with clearer lungs & kicked his dependency on o2. yay! this was definitely a very scary experience. we barely even stepped into a doctor's office during the first 2 years of oliver's life...so this was such a surreal experience with newborn august. it just goes to show that you should never take for granted your good health...mental & physical! it's actually hard to reflect more on this right now. but i can say that gus is doing so much better & that's where we are hoping to remain =) here are some more photos of the experience, something that we will never forget!

...and did anyone notice that someone lost a lot of hair over the experience??? ;)
